mud lite at 22x11x9
http://www.jpcycles.com/search/produ...il?sku=TV21009
just wondering if these will fit on a 2007 400ex with a/c nerf bars. I think they will but i haven't really been able to find anything online for sure. I was out riding in the mud today and it was ugly. lots of rain lately and my stock tires are pretty wore out. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

ya theyll fit,but im a very strong believer that mudlites dont belong on sport quads....why dont you get some razr2' or something?
-
x2 or even some mud sharks. they are flatter than the mud lites and ride like a race type tire instead of a roundy. steve

mainly because i don't race. i ride trails/swamp/mud and some road riding. I don't want track tires of any type. i want to be able to hook up in the mud. they do make mud lites for sport atvs now, mud lite sp's, but they are only 20's. would like the extra inch of ground clearance.

thanks for the help though. u answered my question

razr 2's ares better then mudlites in most things,i suggest looking at those theree pretty meaty,or even gbc x-rex's.

Mudlites are pretty good I have that size on mine. Keep about 6 or 7 lbs in them because in a powerslide it will break the bead if you have less than 6lbs in them. The side walls are thin. another thing dont plan on taking them in the sand they dont hookup at all.

I have the GBC X-rexs on mine... size 22x11x9... they just barely fit with the stock heel guards... so if your guards are any further back then the stock ones then don't get too big a tire... and for a $160(ebay) they were a awesome deal... great traction.. and still can slide if need be...

Mudlights
Hey,
I had mudlights on my ex when i bought
it. 20" is the back and whatever in front,
I got rid of them cause they wouldn't stay
on the wheels. I even got them glued on
an they would still leak air.
To stay in place I needed a lot of pressure,
which was less than ideal for winter riding.
They did grip pretty good but a good self-
cleaning tire (spaced lugs) does the same
job.
Very satisfied with my holeshots GNCC
and they see quite a bit of mud.
