Many riders hit Durhamtown Plantation to test and stay loose between rounds. Santo Derisi had cracked a piston and was breaking in his new engine on Thursday
Repairs were top priority for those "on the road" between rounds

For some, the start to the 2008 season would be anything but normal. Youth rider Austin Findley's mother was rushed to the hospital monday evening and had emergency surgery to remove her appendix. She is doing well, and joined her crew at Durhamtown on wednesday. Best wished from all of us here to her for a speedy and pain free recovery!

For Brandon Sturdivant, this week was used to heal blistered hands. Brandon was running 4th overall in the morning class when his Can Am ran low on fuel.
