For the fourth round of the 2006 WORCS series, we headed to Race Town 395, in Adelanto California.
Race Town sits out in the middle of the desert off of High Way 395, its location makes it a great place to have desert races, because there are hundreds of acres that can be used.
Because there is so much land that can be used, it benefited those who designed the six mile course.
Eichner is shown here, and this is pretty much what the entire course looked like.
But the dirt was very soft, and was quick to rut up. As Phil Dampier shows us here.
Doug Eichner was getting ready for his "PRO" race, jsut shortly after getting back from the first moto of the 4-Stroke Nationals, where he took fourth.
This was the newest obstacle that WORCS will now be adding to the PRO race. It is called the Log Obstacle, which does not need further explanation.
It was Doug Eichner off with a quick lead, grabbing the holeshot for the first moto.
But some riders where not lucky enough to get off to such a clean start, but everyone was ok and quick to get back on their quads.
Andrew Lattimar was quick to get out front for the pro-am class on his new Suzuki.
Eichner was in the lead for the first lap, and was hoping it would stay that way, so he would be able to get his second win of the series.
