BITD Parker 250
These past few days Best In the Desert held their first race of 2005. The race was an awesome experience with 118 (last year there was only 82) entrys with both quads and motorcylces.
As part of the QuadBabes racing team, I packed up my gear and headed to Parker Arizona Friday morning with my mom, and one of our other team members, Christy McGuffin and her dad for the 4 and a half hour drive. There wasn't much exciting on the road, and it was raining pretty much the whole time. When i finally saw this road sign (shown below) I couldn't even begin to tell you how happy I was that the drive was closing in.

This is the agricultural inspection one the way back into California. Unfortunetly it was raining and my mom's windshield wipers got in the way.

The city of Parker didn't consist of much. A few fast food places, a couple hotels, some local bars, and The Blue Water Casino, which was hosting the event.

We were very surprised to see a hotel sign, but no hotel. The hotel sits down close to the river.
