The big story in the morning race was Jason Weigandt VS. Doug Morris.
Doug had a big lead over Jason going in to the second lap but he got stuck in a mud hole that cost him the win. Jason caught and passed him to take the win in the show down. Special thanks to all the sponsors that made it possible.
The womens class battle hasn't been as close as last years but there have been alot of riders improving making it harder for Stephanie and Traci to dominate the whole class. Angel Atwell nails another whole shot at the start.
Stephanie was on Angels heels all through the first lap. She made her move on the second lap.
Traci Cecco was running third. But couldn't make up any ground on the leaders. I guess she still has some bugs to work out of her new Alba YFZ450.
Jean Lovely was riding a borrowed 450r since her 400ex locked up in Sparta 2. She ran the whole race on stock suspension. She hopes to have her own 450r by St Clairsville. She finished 7th in womens class.
Stephanie took the lead and never looked back. As she took another win on the season. With the championship all wraped up Stephanie might try out her new Honda in Ohio.
The stock class points race is extremely tight. With the points leader not there to expand his lead. The other riders were ready to take advantage.
with the points race being this close every position counts a bad start could cost you the championship at this point in the season.
