Which drag bike?
A couple of my friends have dirt bikes and drag race them at the local motorcycle club, and there are a few quads there too. I am pretty interested in drag racing a quad there. I was wondering what would be better for a 300ft drag strip. I have narrowed it down to a banshee or a quadzilla. It is a dirt drag so i was worried about traction on the banshee and i am not sure how the bottom end of the LT is. So what does every one think would be the best. It is a 300ft. dirt drag. If anyone has a suggestion on a better bike please post it. Thanks

The LT has considerably more bottom end than a banshee.
Since its such a large engine it almost feels like a 4-stroke.
They would be perfect for drag racing.
a Banshee is probably your best choice but you are right they do spin alot. But its all about your choice of tires.
The reason I say the Shee over the Zilla is because the Zilla is an older quad, And will probably break down alot more.

You can make both of them pretty fast. Its a tough call:ermm:

please just get a zilla!!!!! you get a nice one with good plastic for $2500 and that has been rebuilt and if you run it a little rich then you really don't have to worry about breaking down, i ride like a bat out of hell most of the time and haven't had any trouble, mine is scary fast, i took mine down a dirt road a couple of days ago with my dad, he was riding a dt175 and doing 60mph (has a speedometer) i blasted by him like he was standing still in low 5th
ZILLA=DRAG :devil:

You could always swap engines in a 500

The banshee has a 1000 or 1100 streetbike engine in it while I am not sure what engine is in the zilla:ermm:

My old LT500 would stomp a shee with toomey's and there is another around here that could tomp mine. They have way more bottom than a shee, and are easier to ride, but dfinately not to start.
