average miles per year

I am looking to buy a used utility ATV.i have noticed the utility ATV's have odometers. What is the average miles per year people put on an atv.

we bought our 98' Foreman 450S with 3600mi (in 2000 or 2001) and it now has about 5200mi. i would say for an average quad, expect 800-1000 miles per year. just my guesstimate.

In the 3 years we've had our Arctic Cat 300 4x4 we've only put about 750 miles on it..

I've had my Foreman for a bit over a year, and it has around 450mi on it right now. Of course I use my EX for general trail riding when it isn't too muddy, so it's the one that racks up the majority of the yearly miles. For people that only own one quad and use it as their general trail quad, I'd say 1,000mi per year is about average for most people.

Jumbo... you either have your speedo tied to the back wheels or you ride that thing to work everyday! :D jk.. I think I've put like 500 miles on mine in about 16 months. I need to ride more! :devil:
