shaft travel question

i was wondering on houser a arms the shocks dont get as muc shaft travel as other a arms but i heard they stuill have the same wheel travel how is this possible?

I don't know what Houser does with their a-arms, but all you would have to do is move the shock mount inward on the a-arm, then you could use a shorter shock with less shaft travel but still get the same amount of overall wheel travel.
