The only thing you can do is put a bigger piston into it. If you still have the stock bore go to a 416 or 426. They will cost about the same. I got my piston and gaskets for 150. Then while you are at it put a cam into it. I know you are tight on money but do what you can do.

What are the steps I need to take to make it a 426, do I just slap the piston in is it more complicated.

you have to have your cylinder bored out .080 over for a 416..i personally wouldnt go over 416, but its all your decision. you have to send the cylinder to a shop and have them bore it. But if i were you i would just go like .020 or so, to make it a 406, or around in that cc range. i like too keep my sleeves as thick as possible.

yea i was skeptical about goin to 426 too. but i talked to my machine shop and they said that a honda cylinder can be bored and still have more metal left than another brand. i know at 416 mine was very reliable. it is better to go 416 im sure, i was just lettin ya know if u decide to go 426, you get get the parts at a little disount than at a shop or sumwhere. just let me know when u decide

Just bore it to the next size up so you can do it again when I needs it again later... Yes, I'm conservative... but I never sell anything. :D
