Will it (16T vs the stock 15T) work on the 400EX with stock cover, etc? Thanks!

i am pretty sure the 16 tooth sprocket will not work with the stock cover, that is just what i have heard.

I have a 16 tooth sprocket and when I had it on my 400 the stock case saver would not fit. The sprocket cover will fit, however.

you just have to grind alittle off the case saver and it works fine then.

You can also order an aftermarket case saver, I know there is at least one company that makes a case saver compatible with a 16t front sprocket. The company that makes them is Pro Design, from Dennis Kirk they are $32.

I just used a dremel tool to grind a little off of the stock saver to make mine fit, took about 15 min.
