I just got a new prm wingarm skid and i noticed that the mounting hole were f up. The bolts dont even thread in they just slip in and out. It looks like somebody tried to put som kind white stuuf that hardens up but ut did not work. I figured i can weld the hole up and re drill and tap. Here are some pics.

no..they go to the bearing carrier & some bolts will hold the carrier in place which means no chain adjustment so welding may be a bad idea.

i will have to take a closer look at mine when i get home and try to think of an alternate mounting method. right now (without looking at it), im wondering about using 2 self-tapping screws into the swingarm right before the carrier. otherwise, you might have to make a few custom brackets. either use 2 "hooks" over the swingarm or 2 "U" shaped pieces. let me look at mine and ill try to think of somethin.

I'll tell you one thing, keep an eye on your rear carrier and bearings...without bolts in those holes, water and mud can get directly in there.

Yeah thanks zach if you could look your way and tell me what your idea is.

And thanks for telling me about the mud and water getting up into those holes.
