Honda plug wrench ??

I need a plug wrench for my 400 EX. The dealer wants $10.00 for one and they have to order it. I might try to make a thin wall 18mm, but was wondering if someone had a better way.

An 18mm deep well thin wall socket will work just fine;)

My hand is kinda big and i have trouble getting my plug started is there any secrets ? i know its bad to use a socket or whatever to start because its alot easier to strip so i just fumble around till i get it but would like to know if there is an easier way ?

to start the thread, try inserting the plug into a rubber tube and spinning it that way. Then you can just tug it off when its started, and tighten down with your wrench.
