400ex,450r,yfz?

Im thinking about a new quad...

i like the 400EX but it seems a little out dated

i like the 450R but the EX has more susp travel than the 450R

and the YFZ is really expensive


i weight 190 and 5,9 and ride a 300EX right now...

how much more powerful is a 400EX than a 300EX...is it worth getting the 400EX or should i just keep the 300ex?

i dont really need the power of a 450 but there fun to ride!:D

any opinons on which one would be better?

the 400ex is ok
the 450r is the best in my opion (and my ride is yamaha)
the yfz 450 is cool i rode on today and it was very power full but if u can get the 450 r

Nik I see you on the 450r. Just throw some elka's or pep's and I hink u'll be all set! If not just go crazy with the 300(well as crazy as you can get):D

i guess it all depends what you are doing.. so far i love mine BUT i am haveing jetting issues....

i havent took it back to the dealer but hopefully the six month warranty will cover it...

when i let off the throttle it sorta backfires really quiet ..

sometimes when i get on it, it seems like its not ge tting enough gas.. . but see i got it in tenn.. so i'm sure they jetted it for tenn.. and i live in ky so hopefully its not a big deal..



ps does anyone know why there is a small hole on the side of my motor what is it for.. ?

i really love my 400ex .. i sorta wish i didnt get a new bike now.. but .. i think its because i am getting a little fustrated with the jetting cause i dont know how to fix it, cause i cant work on stuff! lol .

i like the 450r but i killed my bike several times yesterday i would have been peed if i had to kick start it everytime i made a mistake...

but then again wants you get used to your bike you wont kill it so ... here is what i would do..

fi u dont need the speed of a 450r then get a 400ex and put a pipe on it and it will be alot quicker top and botem and i went form a 250x to a 400ex (stock) and was a big difference all around and with a good pipe like spark, lrd ,*hmf* ect ull notice a biggerdiffernce :macho
