FMF is always a good choice but the LRD pipe is wicked too

LRD is real nice, especially if you can find a adjustable one on ebay, really never heard of a bad pie besides DG tho

i just ordered an LRD RFX. the adjustable works better with a built motor and at some adjustments it will hit the fins on the head and a few fins need to be grinded down a 1/2 inch. the only pipes i considered werer the LRD, Paul Turner and the Dnyoport. it came down to wich one could i get the fastest.

FMF Fatty or FMF SST.

FMF owns the 2 stroke world.

i bolted up my LRD RFX pipe and silencer the other night. man this thing is nice, the fit and finish was incredible and everything bolted up perfect. no moving calbes or cutting plastic. i started it up with the stock 230 main jet and 32:1 mix of Yamaha 2-R and i immidiatley noticed a strong pull off the bottem. this exhaust pulls from idle until the revs run out. i then added Boysen Power Reeds and changed the main jet to a 280. the reeds smoothed the low end out and the bike pulls so much harder than it used to in the woods. it revs down quicker and up faster. it sounds like an R but not with the deep tone. i was able to ride the tight practice track we have in high 3rd gear when i used to do it in 2nd. it's a little more to hang on to but worth every penny. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS PIPE OVER AN FMF,TOOMEY,PRO CIRCUIT.....
the pipe and silencer came with a jet kit, mount braket because it's a right bend pipe, and a new flange for the cylinder head.

my settup now:
LRD pipe and silencer
280 main jet
air/fuel screw 2 1/2 turns out
stock needle
stock piolet
lid on
Uni air filter.

im going to play with the needle LRD gave me and see what else i can get out of it.

update on jetting.

LRD needle with clip in 2nd position from top with a 280 main and stock piolet is the hot setup so far. the plug has a good color and the lid is on and there is no bogging or cutting up.

I had a toomey pipe on my blaster
It ran awesome and pulled like crazy when
she was WFO
It was like night and day compared to the stocker
Make sure you jet it right though no matter what pipe ya get
I had a 30mm Trenga racing carb too that was easy, cheap, and a great improvement:)
