i got a set of 18"s for the rear and 20"s up front kenda claws i bought new front ITP rims that the guy told me were good for racing beacue they have a rounded edge on the edge of the rims which will help protect them from going off the bead and he said ITP stoped making them. but i bought a set of ITP t-9's from my buddy and wow they were bent to **** and left side tire wont even hold air it leaks out of the bead unless i have the tire pressure way up but stil when i turn the air will leak out and we tryed to glue them but not go. i really don't want to buy beed locks becasue money is tight. so what is a good strong non beed lock rim for MX racing? should i get another set of T-9s or how are the douglas balck and red labels? or are the T-9 pros better?

Just get some racer rims with rings welded in them. The rings will help keep the rim from getting flat spots in them from landing jumps.. They run about $90 a piece i think. That's the only rear rims that I"ve ever used for MX racing and I've never popped the bead off or put a flat spot on the rim. The fronts are another story..:o

this is probably a stupied questions but i can run my 18" rear kenda claws on any 8" rime right? they are 8" rim tires but they say in the tire 18X10 which is tires size but for rim they say 8.5 rim. so i could run them on 8X8.5 or a 8X8 right? and is they first number say how tall the rim is and the secound is how wide it is right?

i'll try and help you out here..an 18" tire is made to be run with an 8" rim, or a 9" rim, the tire has a size on it like 18x10x8, 18 means the diameter of the tire, 10 is the width and 8 is the diameter of the rim,8" rims are 8x8..hope that helps
