what is faster a kx85 or a yz85?

i'm thinking yz85 because yamaha is better at dirt bikes but team green is always fast..i'd say the yz and kx are very close

the kx's arent too fast but then again i heard the smaller yami's were dogs....but theyre bigger ones are fast.:confused:

they are prolly neck and neck. give er take. i know yami bikes rip *** though. i would check out some dynos and see whats up

I had a KX 80 when I was in sixth grade and let me tell you, it was quick. I've never ridden a YZ though.

The KX will have more low end because it has a powervalve (the YZ does not). I believe the YZ puts out more on top though. If you are a novice rider the KX is a better choice, as they both handle similarly..

If the KX, like many Kawi's is running the Suzuki motor than for sure it's quicker.

i had a yz85 an those little frickers are fast as hell...I have to go with the yammi on this one...

It's not. All the KX/RM 2 strokes are independent from each other (except for the RM/KX 60/65/100).

The yz85s are doggs. I would say the kx would take it off the line for a little while then the yz would come back top end.. if its that long of a race..:macho

Do yourself a favour and go buy a CR85r and i promise you'll never have to ***** about it :) (the cr will rip apart kx/yz anyday)
