Someone told me that a Raptor seat will fit on a YFZ if you cut the taps off.
I need more cushion

No not that extreme, he took and cut the bottom plastic knobs off and fits in really well.

They look like they are the same thickness, I looked at them side by side today. It looks like the Raptor foam would fit right on the YFZs shell. No real benifit.

I got a complete raptor seat with a blue gripper cover if anyone is interested in trading for a yfz seat.

One guy put a bunch of holes in the seat foam, said it fixed the problem.

I odn't know if it will fit as easy as the Raptor 660 seat but the seat on the Raptor 350 is over twice as thick as the YFZ seat!!!!!!

This is hearsay, but I heard Raptor foam will go in relatively easy with a little help from an electric knife. This person said it made a huge difference in comfort. I know my Raptor seat is much softer than my brothers YFZ seat. Everytime I ride it I have bruises. If I ever decide to get one that will be my first mod.

you only use the raptor foam. not the seat frame. you take the raptor foam and stick it in the yfz seat frame. all you need to do is trim a little off the bottom of the raptor foam to make it work. an easier and cheaper fix is to go to a fabric store and get some 1" upholstry foam and put on top of the yfz foam and poke a zillion holes in the yfz foam to make it less dense. we did it on my buddy's yfz. worked great. the seat acually holds on to you, instead of slipping all over the place when riding in the mud. a gripper seat cover is a must. jmo
