I was wanting to know what would be the best thing to do to lower the tempatures of my 400ex.Can you really tell a difference with pingry's oil tank or would air scoop's do just as good.Or is there any other ways to cool it down.

You could also buy the FST 400EX Cool Kit. Go to www.fourstroketech.com and Click on New Product Release. That should Work Good. You could still get some Air Scoops and the Pingry Oil Tank too.

scoops, pingrys tank, and one step colder in the spark plug, 9 instead of 8 will cool it, run higher octane, if u run regular, run premium.

This is exactly right. For my 505 im getting a pingrys oil tank, FST oil cooler, colder plug, and some scoops. Also High Lifter sells ATV motor cool. You put it in your oil and it cools the temp by 15 degrees, and it works good.

Chad, your getting all that Stuff for your 400EX? Man it`s going to run really Cool. Some Day I might get a Pingry`s Oil Tank. I don`t know yet. I have to get my Chassis Setup First.

chad, is that 505 u talkin bout liquid cooled?

if u run all that stuff i said, shel stay cool longer.

Chad`s 505 will not be Liquid Cooled. That`s the FST Kit your thinking of.

No mine wont be liquid cooled but she should run pretty good with all thes steps im taking to keep it cool. I had my aluminum airbox made yesterday and it looks awesome. He done a perfect job and charged me $60. You cant beat that!!! Im probably going to order my Houser swing arm and a-arms today with some Works shocks!!! im going to powdercoat my frame and subframe mirror black with red sparkles and the swingarm,a-arms,steering stem and a few other things red with black sparkles!!! Then Im getting white Fullbore plastic. I cant wait to see what it will look like!!!

has anyone installed a cool kit from FST yet? I am thinking about buying one, but want to hear from anyone who has used it. Does it really drop the temp 50 degrees as advertised?

Are you talking about the oil cooler kit. Im curious to see too. Im going to get me one!!

I have emailed FST about seeing some pictures of their cool kit installed. I received a response, but no pictures or futher detail.

Has anyone here installed one of these? If so, can we see some pics?

I like the fst cooler but fst is very backed up so it will probably be a long wait.Does any one on here have a pingry oil cooler ,can you really tell adifference with it.
