I'm going to start racing next year and can't seem to nail the doubles. I'm not scared to get the air but I could use some tips on timing, and I cant seem to figure out where to land on the other ramp to have a smooth landing. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

i learned by going to open practices and just following the other riders around the track..it works better than you would think

Best advice you can get. You'll get a feel for what speed you need to hit the jumps, and watch their body position. Stay on the gas when you clear the jump.

never let off on the face of the jump either...you'll nose dive

I always overshoot the jump my first try, then back down on the throttle to get it perfect. It's always better to overshoot a jump than it is to case it.
