my friend has the trail tech's on his 300ex. work great and u dont wanna look at them, even from a distance or itll hurt.:p they seem to be holding up except that one of the glass lenses craked...still works fine though. he just bout the lights and made a mount himself since it was cheaper.

i used hose clamps to hold them on it works perfect with the square brackets they have on them. you could mount them to the scoops but its nice when the lights turn with the bars its easyer to see at night

it is also cool to mount one in the front bumper pointing almost straight down. Why you ask? Because if you do any night ridng and do wheelies you can see where you are going, even after the sun goes down.

As for a headlight i just bought a set of the $15 lights from autozone and mounted one of them on the handlebars. The filaments in them aren't designed to take the abuse of consistent hard landings and really rough terrain so every once in a while they blow and you just put the other one on or buy a new bulb.

That's what I have. The Trail Techs are alot cheaper though, I don't know what the differences are.

If you get them with the bar clamp the sit too high IMO. The first you roll over the mounting bolts will snap off. I learned the hard way:o

I wired them into the stock wiring so the stock switch turns them on. I still have the stock lights on, low beam runs the new lights and high beam runs the stock lights.

hey honda man couple questions.

how hard was it to mount the lights to the air scoops?
did you wire it into the stock button?
have you had any problems with them?

also, since you have the aftermarket plastics did you have to move your key switch and if you did where did you move it to and how did you hook it up?
