shocks..

i have stock shocks on my 300 and both my front and my back are set on the third setting i ride rough trails and i jump a good bit, i was thinking about puttin my shocks on the 4th setting, would it help stiffen them up alittle? i weigh about 155-160??
any help?

The preload really doesnt help bottoming at all. It is initial stiffness. I set mine on the lowest setting, and I got a little sag, and a much better ride. That is what I would suggest. It also improves handling a small bit (lower ride hight).
