not only did i hear it always runs in the down position, i heard it curved as it went down:D
anyway, yea, ive heard some of those motors push 40k rpms....wish quads could do that!

i remember seeing an engine which the piston was not much larger then the eraser on a pencil and it said it could do almost 100k rpms. Its been like 7-8 years since ive screwed around with r/c stuff though.

I can't believe an engine could be productive at 40,000RPM, let alone 100,000RPM. There comes a point where things can't happen fast enough (the fuel burning, the spark, reeds opening/closing) to produce power. I've read that there comes a point around 20,000RPM where power begins to drop off in all engines for those reasons.

Yeah, I'll say!! They know your periscope goes down, and curves to the left. Get them curtains up, that is err, unless you leave then down on purpose:D
