I have read several useful tips on this sight for Jetting carbs wich is awsome . the best sight going , But i read several postings suggesting to change the slow Jet from a Stock 38 to a 41or 42 and to run a 155main and you could get the slow jets at your local Honda dealer . well i just got done going there and they said they dont have any part numbers for them and they could sell me a jet Kit ... wich i have already purchased a Dial a Jet . and would like to run with a aluminum air box and a White brothers Eseries pipe with 13 disc any help would greatly be apreciated .. Thank you for a great sight

Forget buying a kit to get a jet or two. They are tyring to rip you off. What kind of a shop can't find a part # for jets? Go to another shop or order a 40 and 42 from C&D racing.

yes, the dealer is feeding you a line. i personally would NOT run the jet kit or dial a jet. i would go buy individual keihin main and pilot jets. a 40 or 42 pilot jet will be great. for the mainjet, i would buy 152, 155, and 158. the mainjets are 13 series and the pilot jets are 21 series. they should have keihin jets in many of their catalogs.

i forgot to mention, the jets in a jet kit are NOT the same as keihin jets. so, the dynojets (jets in the kit) have a different numbering pattern. so a 155 dynojet is NOT equal to a 155 keihin jet. this will play a factor when jetting.

I too have found this out the hard way. Screw all the jet kits and the schiz that does...or I should say doesn't come with them.

I was much better off just getting individual stock Keihin main and pilot jets.:o :)
