Some of you all out there already know that I'm in the process of building a HOUSER YZ426 quad. For those of you who don't, I thought it'd be fun to keep everyone posted on the build with pics and what-not.

I'm still waiting to get some parts such as radiator, exhaust, 250r rearend, bar clamp, etc. So, I've only got it partially built.

For now, it's got the following:
2002 YZ426 motor
2002 Houser frame/subframe, no-link swingarm, anti-vibe stem
PEP ZPS no-link rear
Laeger +2 a-arms
TCS comp. adj fronts
RPM Dominator axle

Just got the motor installed yesterday afternoon, so I'll post some pics when I get home today.

I'm so psyched about getting this up and running. Any input or constructive criticism is appreciated. What color plastic, hood, and seat do you think would look good? I was thinking maybe some blue or white plastic w/red Quadtech style hood, and an American flag seat cover. I just thought it'd be unique? Then again, I'm really diggin K&K's new graphic kits!

I personally dont like the looks of that DG bumper and would ditch it for an AC,PRM or Duncan...imo

Thanks for the comment. The DG is off my 400EX. I'd rather have and AC, but I'm more worried about getting this thing running right now!:D I'll definetly work on looks after I get this thing rolling.

Things are still going kind of slow, but I've actually only got a few more things to do now. I've got to: rebuild rear caliper, service rear shock, mount chain, get silencer, get & mount radiator. It's a lot closer than it was just a few weeks ago. Anyway, here's some updated pics. Please excuse the mess in the garage.:)

that's wicked. all i can say is PLEASE son't put crappy *** R style plastic on it. go for something that not everyone and their shaved-fender dog has.

The frame is designed for 250R plastics. I don't know how hard it'd be to put 400EX on there. Also, I've thought about Laker Custom instead of Maier & a scoop?
