Hey<
Im looking into getting an exhaust sytem for my 400ex.
A friend of mine is getting a deal for me

I can get a yoshi full system for about $800
or a fmf system for about $600 with the power bomb

OR i could geta slip on of either (or a couple others)
but i heard the stock ex header is pretty good? I have no toher engine mods, im ordering a uni ( good choice?) filter too wheni order the system.

What would you recomend.

I would take Yoshi over FMF hands down.

The stock header is good for no engine mods. The uni filter is what I run, I like it. I run an outerwear on it also just in case:)

You do not necessarily need the aftermarket header but with engine mods you would to get the full benefit of the mods.

Hope this helps.

I think the 400ex Curtis Sparks pipe is only $519 and is a complete system...
Also HMF pipes are good and their cheaper...

these full system exhausts sound a little expensive. I know i've seen full wb eseries pipes for around $420 new in magazines. That setup was tested multiple times by magazines and it was said to be the best for stock 400ex's. The curtis sparks x6 is the best mod pipe.

Dude, the full FMF system is like 400 bucks if you look hard enough. I would go with a sparks x-6 like sportax said. You can get an hmf for like 450 outta the magazines. If you pay 600-800 bucks for a full system, your not paying attention. Do some research.

Not as loud as my HMF. It gives it a deeper tone and obvioussly will make it a decent amount louder...
