Needn help with 99 400Ex

I Recently got a 99 400Ex and i hear they have trouble witht eh carbs...sometimes like when i'm going up a hill or in a drag race...it will Bog down like its in 5th or somthin then u pull in cluth and its finne till u let out on clutch...then it finally works its self out....
hhopw do i fix this..what would i need to get for my carb...TIA
