I just got a HRC cam for the ol' 400, and was wondering if the valve clearances' change, or stay the same as stock? Service Honda didn't give me a single piece of literature on the thing, and I know quite a few guys on here have them. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, J.C.

with the vavles adjusted corectly you will get some valve train noise ticking at idle but thats just the grind on this cam.The higher lift and duration will make a little more noise

I thought the valve adj. changes with different cams.Who could you call to find out the specs on a HRC cam?

The valve adjustment should be the same,,, the clearance at top dead center doesnt affect the lift and duration of the cam at all
