need jetting help

While i am waiting for my HRC kit to come in I am going to take out my baffle and remove the airbox lid. Does any one know what size jet I should put in? I live in Indiana, the elevation is 644ft. Thanks for the help.

the HRC comes with a 185 main jet should be fine. you should only be worried if you live in the mountains

I took the baffles out and removed the air box lid on my 450 the first day I had it just to test it out......ran like crap. I live in Oklahoma, NO MOUNTAINS! I've talked to a few people who have done the same thing and just had to jet up a size or two on the main jet. Just a thought.....

it ran like crap because you removed the shi* and now it's probably running too LEAN! So complete it with a larger get such in the HRC Kit.

I'm going to try a 185 this weekend. I just wish my HRC kit would come in and I wouldn't have to worry about the right jet. Thanks again for your replies!
