any1 hear anything about the 2005 450r? or even 400ex's when they come out and is the 450 gonan have electic start or kick or optional? and better fetures or changes?:rolleyes:

i doubt they have had time to see what improvments need to be made for next year

NEW DECALS!!!... Thats what my guess will be for changes in 05. I doubt e start will ever be an option for the R.

Chances are they might change the geometry of the motor relating to the swing arm, Mark and the engineers already made adjustments to the race bike responding to this issue.

Apperantly Honda wanst going for an all out MX bike here, why would they care about making a line or tooling change for 6mm worth of change to suit the small percentage of mx riders???

So you are saying that Honda made a H U G E mistake and is willing to admit it by making a major change in the second year of production???

I don't think he is saying they made a HUGE mistake he just said they might make a few little changes. Just like the 250r there were changes EVERY year from 1986-1989. I don't think honda will make any changes to the 450r but if they do I pray they make a trx450r with a E-start and kick starter next year. I myself don't care if it has a E-start but its hard to go buy a $6500 quad if the wife can't ride it alot. I think she could ride it but being able to start it down in a hole in the dunes on a side of a hill is were I don't think she would do very good. :cool:
