Nothing cheap in the starter area :)
You can get a pull start for approx 80$ or keep an eye open on Ebay.Ebay has starters everyday for 119$ I think.

Is it pretty easy to install the pull starter?? I'm thinkin that may be the way to go, if we did could we get rid of the battery?? That might be the ticket if we kept it & the lil guy raced it that would shave some weight off!! Thanks;)

The pull start replaces the lil cover by the riders left foot. 4 bolts.Make sure you use the gasket from the cover with the pull start. ;)
Yes you can then remove the battery. :)

can you use the pull starter as a back up or you can only have one?

You can use it as a backup or a primary.
