440 won't start

I just replaced the starter in my 01' 440. The problem is when I try to start it all I get is the starter spinning. Can someone please help me. What can this be and how much is it gonna cost me? All help is appreciated.

my 440 does that when the battery is low you might charge it and see what happens

Sounds like you installed the starter gears wrong, like you put the spacer in the wrong side of the starter gear case on the little axel thing.
