Well we are going to build 2 ETONS into XC ready quads for the boys. We ordered a ETON 50 and already had the 90.

Here is a picture before any mods

Rear tires will be 18 x 10 x 8 holeshots. Stock size is 18 x 9 x 8. I have some concern about the tranny and clutch but clutch mods will be done shortly.

The rear tires will be mounted on Burgard beadlocks.

Works suspension will handle the ruff stuff and should arrive shortly.

Front tires will be 19x6x10 ITP holeshots mounted on 2-3 or 2-4 Burgard beadlocks.

AC nerfs are on backorder but should be available to us in 2 weeks. We will have to weld the mounts on the frame but they should provide better protection then the stock floorboards.

Gibson stabilizer is also on backorder but expected shortly.

I havent decided on a pipe and carb yet but along with reeds they will be added if more power is required.

ITP 19 x 6 x 10 holeshots and ITP 16 x 6.5 x 6 snowhogs all mounted on douglas .160 rims will be added to the ETON 50.

Once we get to test out the performance of the Works and Hetrick a arms we will add them to the 50 along with nerfs.

I will keep the thread updated as we make progress:D

Lookin nice. Just how "custom" are the beadlocks? Are they available to the public?

the problem with beadlocks and mini's is weight. burgard ordered .125 rims and added beadlocks to help curb the weight issue on the fronts. no other company would do this so a big thumbs up for the extra mile effort and support he is showing us!!

the other problem is making sure the offsets and bolt patterns are available for your specified mini. some of these "odd ball" rims are always on back order so some patience maybe needed.

we chose beadlocks to show off Burgards product and to set our quad apart from all others!!

looks good..
Good going on getting them involved in the wrenching.
My boy can probably change tires/wheels quicker than i can.
I'm a firm beiever that it's his quad so he needs to know how to check and change the oil and service the air cleaner,WITH dads supervision of course..

Keep us posted as to how the boys are doing,i see lots of trophys in the future....

Works shocks arrived but we ran into trouble. The rear was too long causing a bad swing arm angle at all settings.

the fronts were also longer then stock, but we think we were able to adjust the hiem ends enough to get it really close. since i cant adjust anymore camber im stuck with it. I rode it and so did cody in the yard (after dark) and it did feel good with no bad handling traits. I geuss tomarrow will tell as we hit the track

The front shocks work really well. I dont feel 1/2 the bumps I used to. I hope we can get the rear fixed:(

First woods ride. It seemd to work pretty good overall. i still dont like how much camber it has with this set up. (any ideas?)

the shocks seemd to take whatever he threw at them. Corners well and is very responsive.

The new tire/rim combo seems to be the ticket as now with a wider stance it finds traction instead of riding on the inside ruts made by larger quads

Pappy

We dont have rocks really here, so I improvised with small logs across the trail
