Newbie to jets on 300ex..

I need to re-jet my friends 300ex..

Its running to lean I think..

He has a k&n filter with air lid off, fmf full pipe..

We were running some race gas today and noticed the exaust is white on the inside :eek:

What size jet do I need? what do I ask for at my local honda dealer? are there any guides on installing them or is it easy?

never rebuilt a 4 wheeler motor, but worked on car motors / rebuilt briggs stratton motors lol

I believe a stock one is a 124. If its stock i would go with a 130 since he isnt running a lid. Start with lower numbers and work up. If it isnt stock just buy a couple sizes bigger jet.
