Feather Carbon is also working on a non-Quadtech type hood, and also should have the side panels, counter sprocket cover, and header heatshield available soon in full carbon fiber too. It is good to see different styles of hoods for this new quad, instead of the same design that everyone made for the 250 & 400. Maybe giving the 450r a somewhat controversial look up front was a great idea to get everyone's creative juices flowing.

Got any pics of the plastic hoods? none on his site for the 450R. THe carbon fiber one looks much better than quadtech's plain jane hood.

I like how theres a spot for the key and the oil light, and the hood makes it look good. One thing i dont like is the hood goes on the outside of the side fenders towards the front. I would also like to see the vent in the front raised up more, like the ones on the 250rs. If he made them like that in plastic id buy one for sure.

He's selling the plastic ones on ebay right now. The only thing I don't like is that it's a flat black and not shiny. I'm thinking of getting the cf one. Looks way trick. I never use my lights anyways.
