I've got a question about my Houser no-link swingarm on my Houser YZF426 chassis. The frame uses a 400EX front end, but what about the rear end? Can I use a stock 400EX carrier in the swingarm? I installed it tonight, but it really doesn't look right. What other carriers are worth the cash? Thanks.

The HOUSER YZ426 swing arm uses a 400EX/250R bearing carrier. The carrier is the same for both ATVs. The axle, antifade nut, brakes etc. are set up for a 250R.

Thanks for the info Mr. Houser. I've got a stock carrier, RPM Dominator axle, and stock caliper stay, etc. from my 400EX. Will all of these parts work in the YZF426 swingarm, or do I need to get a 250R caliper stay, 250R caliper,...? Thanks.

Also, what kind of bolt, washers, etc. do I need for the very bottom of my Houser stem, so that it is held in securely?

The Axle, Anti-fade nut, rotor, brake caliper, etc need to be 250R.

I've been told that 250R and 400EX aftermarket axles are interchangeable (250R axle in EX carrier, EX axle in R carrier). Is this correct?

From what I understand, I need: anti-fade nut, rotor, caliper, caliper stay from a 250R. Do I need a YZ426 rear master cylinder and lever? Are there special brackets for this? Thanks.

the 400ex and r axles are differnt u NEED to use a complete 250 rera end set up:
caliper, caliper stay, rotor, hub, lock nut.
u can still use your ex carrier though

get it
