just put in a 440 kit had the head port polished and installed a hot cam stage 2. my problem is that i can't get it to idle once it get's warmed up . after riding it go to pull the clutch in and the idle will stay high .all ready changed the stock pilot jet which was #35 went to a #40. help!!!

Did you adjust the air/fuel ratio screw?

yes . had a mechanic at honda do it . i also installed a dyno jet kit

thats a stage 2 cam for you. i don't know, maybe all of the larger cams make it a rougher idle which would make sense. the only way i can get mine to idle is to lean out the fuel skrew. also, make sure you don't have an air leak anywhere in the exhaust or the boots that hold the carb to the airbox and head. i currently run a 42 pilot jet and 2 turns out on the fuel skrew. find out what pilot jet your running and where the fuel skrew is located?
