The technical definition of bumpsteer is a change in toe angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bumpsteer is built into the geometry of the suspension and steering system, and has nothing to do with turning the bars. The effect of bumpsteer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down. This toe change or “steering” occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump on the track. Bumpsteer is undesirable because the suspension is steering the quad instead of you.

i was going to do that but then i read that people say it isn't so good...so i just got regular aftermarket a-arms...maybe that is what you should do...jus my two cents tho:o

Are you talking about a 250r or 250x?

Put those a-arms on that quad and you will find out what bump steer is very quick. It is not a good set-up, talk to jeff@thequadshop he knows all about it. All I know is my friend was running 400ex a-arms on his 300ex and it was almost unridable. It makes the whole front end very unstable. I would really recommend saving the money and buying after market a-arms. I know its a cheap way to go, but i don't think it would improve you quad in anyway.
