you mean stress.

yeah it will. you can bend your tie rods a lot easier.

I have heard of lenty of people doing this. just watch those stumps!

not only does it increase stress on your spindles and tie rods, but it also softens up the spring rate of the shock from the increased leverage. also it makes the machine very twitchy and squirrly. i did it and the decrease in handling wasnt worth the increase in stability. my 2 cents

i tried this, it feels cool around turns and stuff, but i bent my tierod ends, and in tight trails it $ucks, also when you jump the springs arent at stiff and they bottom easier. i wouldnt
recomend(sp?) offsetting the rims
