View Full Version : Setting up a 250R for GNCC

I was wondering what the gncc rules would alow me to put on a 250R, and not allow. Or if someone can give me a like to a site that has this stuff. Also which tire is best for GNCC, Razar 2, or Kenda Klaws. Thanks.

I looked at the things there, and I got another question. It said that the quads couldnt be more than 5 years old.but ive seen people racing 250R's, and thats what I want to race. Did the rules change for this year, or was I jus lookin in th ewrong class.

you can still run the R in a few classes. it will need a working kill switch and then the typical mods needed for your quad to withstand the punishment associated with gncc style racing


skid plates
good tires and strong rims
and a steering stabilizer

You shure it's only the pro class. Because I would be racing in the amature class. That sucks.

Yes, I'm sure, They have a 2 stroke C class.

I'm not good enough to ride in the pro class, and a 250R is what I was hoping to race.

The PRO class is limited to currently produced ATV's within 5 years old.


No 250R's in the PRO class basically. There are alot of other classes to run.

you can run an R in Pro Am though.

Hey front master,
Im in 2 str C and run a 250R.
Its all R's except for a few banshees and there was blaster in the last race.
Please come to SC cause the class is getting smaller and its always nice to race with a bigger pack.
The 2 str C class you can have anything done to your R.
