BUILDING A 416 WITH HOTCAM STAGE 2. 12:1 COMPRESSION. DO I NEED A BIGGER ROD OR CAN I GET AWAY WITH STOCK. AND IF I DO NEED A BIGGER ROD WHAT KIND.

i would replace the stock rod and head studs they are only good for around 11.5 and under. good luck

you may be pushing the limits of the stock rod. you can't beat the carillo rods, but they aren't cheap. also, the head studs should be updated. i hear the FDO studs are killer.
