Those are the laegers ball joints if I'm not mistaken. I heard that they're extremely strong. The a arms look good too!

Now that i see pictures of them together they do look a lil diffrent. I like how the jd's have the tab to keep the ball joint from turning.

Yep that should make them a little easier to install shouldn't it.

So the wait begins!! I'm glad I went with elkas, I wouldn't wanna be waiting on PEP right now!! It'll be a kick ***** setup when they get there though.

Those look nice. Ball joints do kind of look like Laeger's new ones though.

Yes that is! The new Laeger ball joints are suppose to be very good and are bigger then the older style.

Dave at JD said those were the ones they were using now. But they also have the old VW style ones too for their standard a arms.

if they realy wanted to get ontop they should incoporate those into std travel and they would be the only ones to have em as far as i know! I would dish out a little extra for the better balljoints

Hmm looks familiar...

Yeah they are Leager ball joints, Dave comes by all the time to get more and more of them. The ball joints were designed by Mark and are manufactured in Italy, and we got them by the boxloads.

That's what I read on the Laeger's site. They were manufactured in Italy specially just for atv's. I've heard that they are so strong, they can actually not "give", and break the frame instead of the ball joint.

jd performance does offer those balljoints in standard travel a arms as well as the long travel

i just realized they prob use the same balljoints as laeger because the guy that builds jd's stuff used to build all of lagers stuff for the past 10 years... up until a while ago

I don't think that we have ever had anyone comeback to us with a ball joint failure on the bike. The shanks are stronger and larger. I believe we are selling them to the GYT-R (yamaha) directly now.

Jd (DAVE) used to work for us up till like 2 or so years ago building all the frames. Now, like most of the old employees do their own thing.
