k&n filter

today i took my k&n filter w/outerwear off and there was dirt inside the intake tube

is there a better filter out that is the same setup as k&n but filters better

If you're talking about the cotton gauze K&N uses; not to my knowledge. Alot of people on this board say they prefer UNI to K&N. I don't have a problem with either and have used both.

I ran my K&N for 6 months, went through really dusty conditions, to wet conditions, to sand! Took it off to clean it, and re oil before my spring break fun, and not one spec of dust was inside my intake boot! Mind you i did have an outwear cover, and my air box lid was on, but i do have 6 1" uni air vents, it was a lil dusty inside my air box, but no dust inside the boot
