I bought my 250x with both front rims bent, is there any way to straighten them without taking them anywhere? Thanks

If the are alum. take them off and set them out for the trash man and order new ones.

What year is your x... 87? I have a set of 87 wheels to sell.

Wack it with a rubber mallet.

Where are they bent?

If it's the bead area you can probably use a hammer if they aren't too bad.

if the rim is wobbling they are garbage...if its bead you can fix it with a hammer or mallet

Either way the rim is not gonna be as strong. Just get new ones if you can afford to. If not beat the crap outta them until they're straight!!

I read that if you like smash the rim so it has a flat spot, you can stick a small jack in the center of the rim and push it back out. Just an idea;)
