Yeah, I raced. I was on a red 400. Yellow hand guards, i was wearing yellow and black thor gear. And i got my butt kicked in the a class.
i would post a picture of my quad, but i am kinda new to all of this.

As far as I know you don't need a birth certificate but you will need a guardian.

Well it does pretty good... I did NOT have to stop for gas in Bedford and it was an hour and half race. Yes it an over sized tank.

I'm gonna try the pro class. I always did wanna know how I rate.

Danny, Becky, and I will be working all week on getting ready. It should be a blast. I personally have been waitin to race since the Halloween 100. If anyone remembers I didnt even get to run a lap thanks to my "worthless buddy". Don't worry he knows he is worthless. Although, if he wouldn't have tore up my quad I wouldn't have been inspired to build my winter project. Alright your not completely worthless.

what class is the majority of those riders in?

There have been 40 or more riders in many of the classes. Pro, a and b, there have been 10 or more in the sport/novice class. We typically fall between 75 and 100 atv racers in a normal race. The first race of last year was a blast. If I remember correctly it was over 150 atvs. We hope for growth each year so Im guessin well have an average of over a 100 per race.

Some rain won't mess up the woods, It runs off pretty quick.

The parking lot is the worst. I was up there the other day when it rained. With all the wood chips they have put down in the hare scramble parking area it was "better". You beleive me don't ya. Really it was better.

Besides that we all know the weather forcaster are accurate!! NOT.

just seen the forcast and they say it is going to be a great day sunny and 72 deg.Me and a friend are going we will be in a black chevy 4x4 with a yellow z4oo in the back my 400Ex with K&K graphics on the trailer.look us up and say hey.....I am racing for the first time and I am very pumped for it.Maybe even alittle scared.......I just wanta have some fun.Hope ta see ya there....

everybodies nervous there first couple races, realize you might not do very well, focus and fininshing the race, not winning it, and act like its a fun trail ride, you'll do alright

I agree everyone gets nervous. I think a lot of people are nervous for more than the first couple of races though. Heck I still get butterflies everytime I start up the long entrance hill at Haspins, even if I know Im not racing. If your not nervous than racin' doesn't really mean anything to you.

Definately focus on riding your best. You may eventually find out your best is better than the rest.

The weather forcast does look good with only small chances of scattered rain the rest of the week.

Its gonna be a great day for racin'.:p

Don't worry Cly... this will be my 2nd race so I am VERY nervous! Once you get off the line and into the woods the nerves calm down a little... atleast mine did. We should be in a green F150 with a predator and white 300 with #s 129. Just look for the "Kentucky Riders" banner and we should be close by. Stop in and say hi!! Good luck and see ya there!

Well I guess it good that i wont be the only one that is alil nervous.I am realy looking forward to it.heck I even bought my bubby a kill switch(witch u dont need)so he would go down there and race too.it is his first time also.My plan is to just go out and have fun I know that I am not going to win but I may just like it and have to race in all of them:p or I may hate it and say that for the birds ya just never know.....But I think it will be alot of fun and that is what I want out of it is fun!!!!!

I just called haspin acres. I asked how muddy it is down there and he said it's drying up. So if no more rain by the start of the race i bet i'll turn out nice.

I was up there thursday and Dan was prepping the course seemed like a really nice guy. I had a chance to ride what he had finished and it seemed like a pretty challenging course. I also let him ride my 450r for a few minutes. I think he liked it. Mabey I will make it to a scramble this year and meet some of you. L8ter!
