Ive had mixed decisions, im ready to really know, i have measured and think they will fit. If they do work, is it a good idea. Thanks.

I help you, no they wont, different sleeves sizes etc. I havn't made those in a while but I belive the 250x uses 250R size sleeves which are longer.

it makes the shocks mount up 2 inches higher for longer shocks. dud just do a search there are at least 200 hundred different posts on this. i regret doing it and will soon be getting burgard +3+1's

the shock mounts arent in the right spot for a 300ex, the tierod angle is not right for a 400ex front end conversion an the tierod end location on the spindles is wrong. also, the balljoints on the a-arms are not in the right spot.
if you want an explaination as to why this matters, just do a search

So it would be a bad idea to get them, but i really like the way the 400ex's ride, but is it bass ackwards on a 250x?

Here is the differance between the 250X and the 400 as to why I said they wont work.
-The 250x sleeves are 20 thou (.020) closer togather than the 400.
-the Shock location on the 400ex is back almost half an inch (around .465) and out almost two inches.
-the baljoint on the 250x sits at a 23 deg incline to the a-arm center line, where as the 400ex sits at 25 deg.
The ball joints are however inline with the 250x that is the only thing that is similar.
