Recently I got an 250R and It has a Dura Blue adjustable rear strut. And then one day I was looking though a catolog and it said that they are made for flat track not for MX and MX is what the rest of the Four wheeler is set up for. And I was wondering if I should take it off or will it be OK with it on.

Thanks for the help

I have heard that if you're going to do any jumping you have to take it off.:(

I have a durablue link(87-89) on my 85r, It works fine, I have mine set to 87-89 specs, so it sets up the 88 elka shock correcly.

they say you're not supposed to do big jumps with the strut in the lowering position because the swingarm could travel up too far. if it's adjusted to stock length it should be fine.

my strut is all the way up, not lowered. I knew that you shouldn't with it in the lower position, I got it because it is cheaper and easier to find than a 88/89 and I planned on some ice racing, but never did it
