With a pipe, filter and jetting is gearing still a problemm for the woods. If so has anyone gone down one tooth on the front and down two teeth on the rear? That shoud be perfect.

Mine is totally stock except for skidplates,,,, I was at first gonna change my gearing,,,, but now I have gotten used to it, I do stall occasianally, but as long as you keep the revs up a bit and are good with the clutch,,,,, I don't think gearing for the woods is a must do,,,,, I like it how it is now.

Go to a 13T in the front mine has a 13t in the front & it was good thought I may need more & whent to a 13t in front & 39T in rear now I think its a little to low .May go back to the 38T after I get a pipe & Razor 2's.You should be fine with the 13T in the front in all be the TIGHTEST sections of woods.

Does that 13t make it better for hillclimbs? I've noticed that if I don't get a run at hills, I have to be in first. This won't be good for bigger climbs.

the 13T makes it alot easier for hill climbs. trust me i tried it out for a fact this weekend. i think i'm going to still go with a 39T in the rear also so that i can use second a little more effectivly on hills with less worry about stalling or having to clutch so much

my trx with the 13 tooth is sweet. i can take her down to an almost stall and hit the throttle and she will climb anything. great mod i think now after racing with that set up

Hey Pappy you should of asked I would of let you ride mine,I think just the pipe made it even more resposive at low rpm.
