my sons clutch lever has became very hard to pull . i lubed the cable and it is no different . any ideas

check for any kinks & make sure it isnt spun around anywhere

no kinks in it either . i did notice that with bike in gear when you start it it wants to move

i would make sure you have proper play with the lever. there should be a little slack in there.

did you inspect the clutch lifter arm?

I know this sounds crazy, and I didn't think it would help myself untill I did it. Replace the cable, they are only $13 or so and it will help. I always kept my sons cable lubed too and changing the cable made a big difference.

Look into the motion pro cables. They are a little more $, but from what I have heard/read they are a better cable than stock:)

Heck I thought my clutch was going bad. So replaced the stock cable with another new stock one and put on a PEP e-z pull lever and perch and the dang thing is like brand new! Oh yeah, I also lubed the schiz outta the cable too.;)
