hesitates when hitting the throttle

When i ride my quad:engine parts, LRD full system, dyno jetting, kn filter. evey time i hit the throttle it hesitates or dosent respond well, so i cant just rip a wheelie without using the clutch. i rode my friends stock 400ex and that thing has tons of response. what should i do?

I'm not sure with the limited info, but sounds like you my be lean in the lower rpm range. Try a one size larger pilot jet and move the needle clip down one notch. It should help a bunch.

I would do allitle jetting change but i would also advise a K+N air filter.

right now you got Air gpoing out real good wityh your pipe.(by the way thats a really good pipe you got) but you need to get air in quickly and easily.

if you get the air filter that should sovle the problem along with a jetting change!

I would second the jetting motion. Up your main jet. While you are in there I would up the pilot as well. You can only improve performance.
