I ride mostly trails and they have some hill climbs and jumps. I don't do any of the motox jumps that are 75ft. or anything. At most would be 30ft. I can't make up my mind which one I want. Which is faster in both take off and top end cause the guys I ride with always want to drag race LOL. I'm hoping that they will let me try each on the trails so I can pick for myself but if not can u guys give me some input? THNX

I love my two KFX 700 V Forces. I would suggest this bike, the wieght is only really noticable if you have to pick it up and it will kill a 400 with just a simple primary clutch spring change for 20 bucks.

Why do you all worry so much about the wieght of the 700, are you carring it on the trails or riding it:rolleyes: . I am only 150 pounds and 5'9" and I have no problems handling my V on any trail and believe me there is not a stock anything that is going to stay with it in a straight line. I will agree that the shocks maybe a little weak but they do very good for stockers.

Well, all stock shocks are pretty weak. So can't go by that. Decisions Decisions!!! LOL

everybody i talked to who got a 400, wished they would have gotten the 700 after they rode the v-force.... take a test ride on each and decide afterwards. I'm fine keeping my v-force thank you...

hey utility quads weigh a ton but still handle on trails.

the V weighs a ton and still handles on trails..

just won't feel like a sport quad.

what i would do if test ride them both and pick the one that you want. whenever you ask on here you are going to get conficting facts and biased opinions. just ride then pick whatever one you like better :chinese:

That is a great question. My stepson races a KFX 400 and I race a V-Force. When we are out just playing it's pretty close. However if your looking for pure speed in the woods I think the 400 is a little better. However the V-Force has amazing power for a auto clutch and for the weight. I prefer the V-Force cause I was tired of the clutch.

We have both in our family, Z400 and VF700. THe Vforce is smooth but not as agile as the Z400. Not that you can't get it to do what you want, it's just way more work getting it done.
I'd say unless you are a large person yourself get the Z400.

^^^^^ same here we have both the 400 and the 700, to me the 700 fells bulky while the 400 feels like a mini bike. the v is faster but when i Add the FCr40,pipe+cams im pretty sure it`ll be a diffrent story.

I'll likely be getting a 700.. so you should to... LOL:D If your a power nut go with the 700. If you want something to throw around with little effort do the 400. It should be a simple dicision... Which one do YOU like. Automatic big power is what I need. Age is becoming a factor./......
